Our Strategy
At Ridings we are committed to leaving a lasting impact within our local areas in Leeds and Hull. Our strategy focuses on Investing in Talent and Caring for our Communities and in 2025, our aim is to deliver £250,000 SROI against the National TOMS framework.
Investing in Talent
We are proud to support young people at local colleges and work with Ron Dearing UTC to find our fantastic apprenticeship cohort each year.
We are also partnered with Bradford College to help full time students studying a T Level in Design, Planning and Surveying gain experience of the industry through work placements, workshops and demo days. More to follow on this!
Caring for Our Communities
By prioritizing community wellbeing in everything from procurement to workforce development, we create ripple effects that strengthen resilience, unlock potential, and foster pride in place. Our commitment goes beyond compliance; it’s about co-creating futures where everyone can thrive.
We deliver meaningful social impact by helping local sporting group, hospitals and charities with local projects, volunteering and community work.
Through our ongoing partnership with TJ’s boxing gym in Morley, we paid for a new canvas for the ring, helping to keep classes open for the young people in the local area.
Ridings volunteers helped at ‘The Big Dig’ at Swinnow Community Centre in Leeds, weeding and clearing space for an outdoor play area for the community.
We were proud to support Ron Dearing UTC at their Careers Expo 2025, engaging with Year 10 and 12 students as they consider their future career paths.
